Imperial College India Foundation Postgraduate Scholarships in UK, 2016
Imperial College India Foundation Postgraduate Scholarships are available for Indian nationals residing in India. To be eligible for scholarship, candidates must have applied to study on a postgraduate taught Master’s programme in the Faculty of Engineering, Faculty of Natural Sciences or Imperial College Business School, having applied through the normal application process. Each scholarship covers the full cost of (overseas) tuition fees, a maintenance allowance, some additional costs, and an airfare to India. The application deadline is 8 March 2016.

Eligibility: To be eligible for scholarship, candidates must:
-have applied to study on a postgraduate taught Master’s programme in the Faculty of Engineering, Faculty of Natural Sciences or Imperial College Business School, having applied through the normal application process;
-display intellectual ability and leadership potential; and be committed to engaging with society and using their abilities to contribute to India on their return
-be deemed in need of financial support in order the pursue their studies
-have an adequate standard of English, ie.e at least 6.5 in IELTS;
-demonstrate an intention to return to India within three (3) years of completing the degree at the Co
-have applied to study on a postgraduate taught Master’s programme in the Faculty of Engineering, Faculty of Natural Sciences or Imperial College Business School, having applied through the normal application process;
-display intellectual ability and leadership potential; and be committed to engaging with society and using their abilities to contribute to India on their return
-be deemed in need of financial support in order the pursue their studies

Scholarship Open for International Students: Indian students can apply for these postgraduate scholarships.
Scholarship Description: Applications are invited from academically outstanding Indian students to study for a postgraduate taught Master’s programme at Imperial College London. Scholarships are available for Indian nationals residing in India, generously provided by the alumni and supporters of the Imperial College India Foundation.
Number of award(s): For entry in 2016, there are two funded Master’s scholarships available.

What does it cover? Each scholarship covers the full cost of (overseas) tuition fees, a maintenance allowance, some additional costs, and an airfare to India. This includes:
-Maintenance allowance equal to Imperial’s minimum stipend allowance in any given year
-An arrival allowance

Selection Criteria: Imperial shortlists eligible candidates, based on the online scholarship form and their College application.
Notification: Candidates will be informed of the results of their scholarship application by the end of April 2016.
How to Apply: Candidates apply directly to the College using the standard Registry application process. After candidates have completed a College application they can apply for the scholarship through the online form. Please note, if shortlisted, candidates will be required to submit a copy of their own/their parents’ tax returns. Candidates will have one week to submit these details. This will be used as evidence of financial need.
